Tied for third place with a score of 269 (-15) were the Frenchmen Matthieu Pavon and Tom Vaillant, Norway’s Kristoffer Reitan, and Spaniard Eugenio Chacarra—who had pulled within two strokes of Fitzpatrick before dropping back with a double bogey near the end. South Africa’s Brandon Stone and American Michael Kim, the defending champion, finished tied with Migliozzi.

The other Italians who completed the tournament also posted strong finishes. Filippo Celli (72 64 71 68) and Francesco Laporta (69 67 68 72) tied for 20th with a score of 275 (-9); Matteo Manassero (65 70 70 71) and Gregorio De Leo (65 68 69 74) tied for 28th with 276 (-8); and Edoardo Molinari finished 33rd with 277 (66 70 70 71, -7). Renato Paratore (88th with 142; 73 69, par) and Stefano Mazzoli (101st with 143; 71 72, +1) failed to make the cut.

Fitzpatrick received a check for $630,000 from a total prize purse of $3,750,000.
