Among them will be Paul Lawrie—winner of the 1999 Open Championship (the same year he made his Ryder Cup debut in Massachusetts alongside Jarmo Sandelin) and a member of the «Miracle at Medinah» team in 2012; Peter Baker, who played in the 1993 Ryder Cup at The Belfry and won the Legends Tour Order of Merit in 2023; Stephen Gallacher and Jamie Donaldson, key members of the team that defeated the United States at Gleneagles in 2014; and Niclas Fasth and Phillip Price, who won the Ryder Cup at The Belfry in 2002.

Also appearing at Fontanals will be Thomas Levet, a member of the 2004 European team in Michigan, and Søren Hansen, who competed in the 2008 Ryder Cup in Kentucky.

The lineup also includes Miguel Ángel Martín, who qualified for the 1997 Ryder Cup at Valderrama but was ultimately unable to play due to injury. His presence at Fontanals offers a chance to reunite—nearly three decades later—one of the key figures from that historic generation of Spanish golf.
