Dutchman Lars Keunen returned to success after three years on the Alps Tour, dominating the Fred Olsen Alps de La Gomera, finishing with a 196 (66, 65, 65, -17) round. On the par-71 Tecina Golf course on the Spanish island of La Gomera in the Canary Islands, Mattia Comotti (67, 67, 66) and Marco Florioli (66, 66, 68) put in a strong performance, finishing second with a 200 (-13), joined by Frenchman Paul Margolis and Spaniard Eduard Rousaud.

Sixth place went to Frenchman Theo Brizard and Spain’s Victor Garcia Broto with a 201 (-12), while four other Italians finished in the top ten: Alessandro Nodari, Davide Buchi, Flavio Michetti, and Luca Memeo, who tied for eighth with a 202 (-11) along with England’s Mason Essam. Also in good standing were Filippo Bergamaschi, 13th with 203 (-10), Alessandro Nardini, Enrico Di Nitto (who won the Alps Andalucia-Roquetas de Mar in June), and Ludovico Addabbo, 18th with 204 (-9), and Luca Cavalli, 24th with 205 (-8). Further back were Giovanni Manzoni, 34th with 209 (-4), Giulio Zanichelli, 36th with 210 (-3), Federico Livio, 39th with 211 (-2), and Manfredi Manica, 41st with 215 (+2).

Lars Keunen, 29, secured his third title on the tour after the Ein Bay Open (2020) and the Tenerife Open (2023) and has achieved twenty career top-ten finishes, three this year. He started in fourth place, then took the lead in the second round by one stroke, which he extended to four with a final-round 65 (-6, six birdies), a best round of the day also recorded by Buchi (seven birdies, one bogey). The Dutchman was rewarded with a check for €6,900 on a prize pool of €47,650.

In the final round, Florioli maintained the second-place finish he acquired in the middle round with a 68 (-3, seven birdies, four bogeys), and Comotti moved up from 11th with a 66 (-5, six birdies, one bogey).

In the rankings, where Andrea Romano leads the way, having nevertheless moved up to the HotelPlanner Tour thanks to three wins this season, Enrico Di Nitto is sixth and Alessandro Nodari tenth.
