“I’m not one that talks a ton on the course anyway, so if somebody wants to talk to me, I’m more than happy to chat. But if the other guy is in his own world, I kind of chill and don’t really do anything.

I don’t really have a hard stance either way on that. For me, I don’t really feel like much changes.

You know, when Si Woo was having that crazy round at the Byron, I just kind of acted normal. I don’t know, it’s not like you want to stay away from him. I don’t know. I just wouldn’t overthink it.“

The 30-year-old is aware that over-analysis cannot bring much positivity, and that the most important thing is to remain calm and focused when the pressure is greatest around you.

Scheffler is well aware of this, so it is not surprising where his such great performances come from year after year. In addition to excellent golfing qualities, the American golfer has shown countless times that he is truly a player with the greatest mental strength.

Scottie also touched on some other topics when asked by reporters whether he felt he could play low before the second round. Scheffler confirmed it.
