Harrington, who finished with a total of 268 strokes, 12 under par, made birdies on the first two holes and completed the round with four birdies and just one bogey. Stewart Cink, the leader after the third round, finished as runner-up for the second consecutive year. Cink bogeyed two of the first three holes and struggled with accuracy for much of the day; he carded a 71 for a total of 272 (-8).

This is Harrington’s 12th PGA Champions Tour victory and his first since the British Open Seniors last July. George McNeill shot a 71 for a total of 274 (-6). Ian Poulter (67) was fourth at 275 (-5), while Retief Goosen (67), Jamie Donaldson (68), and Paul Stankowski (69) all finished at 276 (-4).

Miguel Ángel Jiménez finished tied for eighth. At -3, he was nine strokes behind the champion after dropping three strokes at par, seeing his chances of contending for the title slip away.
