Andrea Romano has made it four wins. The 25-year-old from Rome won the Memorial Giorgio Bordoni presented by Aon—the penultimate event of the Alps Tour regular season and the fourth event of the Italian Pro Tour presented by Buccellati—held at La Pinetina Golf Club in Appiano Gentile.

Andrea Romano, results

With a total score of 193 (-17; 64-64-65), he finished two strokes ahead of Spaniard Pablo Alperi (-15), while fellow Spaniards Mario Galiano Aguilar (-14) and Alvaro Morales (-13) followed close behind. Grego Ferrandez took fifth place at -12.

This marks Romano’s fourth victory of 2026 (following the Red Sea Little Venice Open, New Giza Open, and Open de Roissy – Grand Prix PGA France). The result further cements his status as the season’s standout player and allows him to finish the tour’s regular season on a high note ahead of the Grand Final.

Among the Italian players, Andrea Rota shone particularly brightly, finishing ninth at -11 with an excellent performance of 64-68-67. Tied for twelfth place at -10 were Gianmaria Rean Trinchero (68-66-66), Pietro Boeris (67-65-68), and amateur Matteo Manini (63-68-69), who was a true star of the tournament. The young player from Bologna—born in 2009—had led after the first round with a superb 63 and maintained his high level of play right to the end. A trio comprising Riccardo Cavina, Luca Memeo, and Davide Buchi finished in seventeenth place at -9. A large group followed at -7, including Italians Gregory Molteni, Filippo Grossi, Luca Galliano, Enrico Di Nitto, and Andrea Martini. Alessandro Nodari, Sebastiano Moro (Am), Alessandro Nardini, and Leonardo Rigotti tied for 37th place at -5. Flavio Michetti sits alone in 44th place at -4, followed by Lucas Fallotico (45th), while Ferruccio Saglimbene rounds out the list of Italians finishing in the money at 50th place.

With only the Grand Final remaining, the top three spots on the Order of Merit are held by Andrea Romano, Alexander Vandermoten, and Maxime Legros—all of whom have already secured promotion to the HotelPlanner Tour thanks to victories earlier in the season. Alessandro Nodari and Enrico Di Nitto sit in ninth and tenth place, respectively, still contending for a spot in the top five and a ticket to the 2027 HotelPlanner Tour.

All eyes are now on next week’s Grand Final, where the final details of the Alps Tour season will be decided.
