As the 2026 season approaches its decisive moment, Underpar looks to the future and presents one of the main innovations for next year. In 2027, the World Golf Ambition – Road to Phoenix Open will debut, a new championship destined to become a fixture on the Underpar calendar and designed to offer players an even more engaging journey, with a truly special finish line.

The ultimate goal of the first edition will be the WM Phoenix Open in Scottsdale, one of the most spectacular events in world golf. In 2028, however, the destination will change and it will be the turn of The Players Championship, a tournament considered by many to be the «fifth Major.» The two destinations will alternate each year, becoming the symbol of the new championship.

It will officially begin on January 1, 2027, and will have a regular season that will reward the seven best results achieved between January 1 and July 31.

The title race will conclude in September with the finals, already scheduled for September 24 and 25, 2027, which will be played on the three courses of the Castello Tolcinasco. The spectacular Shootout format will decide the winners, while a total of 64 prizes will be up for grabs.

The real revolution, however, concerns the qualification system. For the first time in the history of the Underpar circuits, the Qualifying School will debut, a system inspired by the major professional tours that will allow players to earn a «card» to enter the new championship.

From July 1st, 2026, all APART Revolution Tour competitions will act as Qualifying Schools.

Ten access cards will be awarded at each event, reserved for the top two clear finishers in each of the five categories.

Access will also be guaranteed through the new 2027 UP Tour Series World membership, available both to new members and as an upgrade from the traditional UP Tour Series membership.

Existing World membership holders can still qualify by participating in the APART Revolution Tour competitions. In this case, Underpar will provide a cashback value of €70.
