Aunchisa Utama claimed victory at the 2026 Dutch Ladies Open, the Thai player’s first title on the Ladies European Tour. With an excellent 66 (-6) in her final round without a bogey, Utama finished nine points behind at Goyer Golf & Country Club in the Netherlands and defeated Norway’s Dorthea Forbrigd in a playoff.

The two players were tied at nine points behind after 54 holes, with Forbrigd posting a solid final 68. In the playoff on the 18th, Utama hit the green in two and holed a 16-foot putt for the decisive birdie, while the Norwegian was unable to respond.

The best Italian finisher was Alessandra Fanali, 27th at four points behind with scores of 68-76-68. A second round of 76 penalized her, preventing her from competing for higher positions despite two excellent 68s on the first and third days.

Roberta Liti also performed well, finishing 35th at -3 (71-71-71), consistent for three rounds. Alessia Nobilio finished 44th at -2 (71-71-72), while Anna Zanusso placed 52nd at -1 (72-73-70). Matilde Partele, however, failed to make the cut.

Indians Avani Prashanth and Diksha Dagar tied for third at -8. A group of eight players followed at -7, including Chloe Williams, Pranavi Urs, Annika Borrelli, Justice Bosio, Kirsten Rudgeley, Hannah Screen, Georgia Iziemgbe Oboh, and Harang Lee.

With this result, Utama moves up 55 spots in the Order of Merit and climbs to 12th place. South African Casandra Alexander remains in the lead.

After a two-week break, the Ladies European Tour returns to action this week with the Dutch Ladies Open, scheduled for Friday, June 19th to Sunday, June 21st, 2026, at Goyer Golf & Country Club in Eemnes, the Netherlands. This is the second consecutive time the prestigious Dutch club has hosted the event, following a successful debut in 2025.

Designed by renowned Belgian architect Bruno Steensels, the course stands out for its great variety and difficulty: waste areas, high roughs, water hazards, and strategic bunkers create a technical and challenging layout, perfect for a high-level tournament with a course that rewards precision and strategy.

132 players from 37 different nations will be competing. The 54-hole tournament will be played in stroke play, with a cut after two rounds reserved for the top 60 finishers and ties. The prize pool is €350,000.

The big home favorite is Dutch star Anne Van Dam, a five-time winner on the LET. After the birth of her daughter earlier this year, the powerful Dutchwoman is back in action and aims to improve on her second-place finish in the 2025 edition. Van Dam is also captain of the European PING Junior Solheim Cup team and vice-captain for the 2026 Solheim Cup, which will be played in the Netherlands at Bernardus Golf from September 7 to 13.

Among the other big names in the field, England’s Georgia Hall, Major champion, stands out as she continues her return to the game after giving birth. Five winners of the 2026 LET season are also present: Kelsey Bennett, Agathe Laisné, Esme Hamilton, Smilla Tarning Soenderby, and Leonie Harm. Five amateurs round out the field, including Anne-Sterre den Dunnen, Noa Van Beek, and Minouche Rooijmans of the Netherlands, and Louise Uma Landgraf (the youngest winner in LETAS history) and Alice Kong of France.

The attention of Italian fans will be focused on the five Italians at the start: Alessandra Fanali, Roberta Liti, Alessia Nobilio, Matilde Partele, and Anna Zanusso.

The Dutch Ladies Open represents an important opportunity for Italian women not only for the European ranking, but also to gain experience on technical courts ahead of the summer LET events.
