Andrea Romano continues to dominate the Alps Tour season and extends his extraordinary run of form. Andrea won the Open de Roissy – Grand Prix PGA France, securing his third victory of the season following victories at the Red Sea Little Venice Open and the New Giza Open.

Starting the final round two shots behind the top spot, Romano delivered a flawless performance, shooting an excellent, flawless 65 (-7) to win with a total score of -17. With this third title of the season, the Italian also earned direct promotion to the HotelPlanner Tour, an award reserved for players who win three Alps Tour tournaments in the same season.

Following him was England’s Mason Essam, who produced a spectacular comeback with a round of 63 (-9). Despite a bogey on the 12th hole, Essam finished just one shot behind the leader. In joint third place were Frenchmen Louis Darthenay, leader after the second round, Paul Franquet, and Théo Boulet.

Alessandro Nodari also performed well, finishing the tournament in sixth place with 203 strokes (-13) thanks to scores of 68, 65, and 70. This significant result allows the Italian player to move up the Alps Tour Order of Merit, where he now sits in ninth place.

With this victory, Romano collects the first prize of €7,900 and further consolidates his leadership of the Alps Tour Order of Merit. Maxime Legros of France remains in second place, while Scotsman Robert Moran, Spaniard Pablo Alperi Lopez, and fellow countryman Mario Galiano Aguilar round out the top five.

The race to qualify for the 2026 Hulencourt Alps Tour Grand Final and to secure a spot on the HotelPlanner Tour will resume on June 5 with the Open International de la Mirabelle d’Or, scheduled for the Golf de La Grange aux Ormes.
