“And there’s many ways around that, as far as putting my money into it, they have not asked me to do that yet.

So I don’t know if they will or not. It’s not something that they have asked me but there has been many different avenues to try to make it different, what we’ve had until now.

They haven’t asked me to put my money in yet.“

When asked by a journalist whether he would be ready to invest his own money if he was really asked to do so, Jon Rahm stressed that everything is possible, not wanting to write off any scenario.

“Something I’ve learned in life, never say never. I’m not going to say absolutely no to anything that can happen in the future,“ he said.

The famous golfer will take part in the Scottish Open this week, aware that a victory in this tournament would make it significantly easier for him to continue the season.

Rahm stressed that he feels great and has a good feeling about his game, hoping that this tournament can be a great opportunity to improve his results and reduce the number of errors.

“Yeah, feels good,“ he said.

“I would say the mistakes have something to do with how I’m hitting in the game, right.

It’s just I feel like that’s one of those things that can only happen at a U.S. Open and a place like Shinnecock because it didn’t feel like hit bad shots, except the swing on 14, and that’s why I say it’s my mistakes.

If it doesn’t feel that bad, I should have made a better job of minimizing some of the mistakes.“ he concluded.

What will happen?

The merger talks between the PGA Tour and the Saudi PIF, pompously announced back in 2023, have effectively collapsed in their original form. Saudi Arabia realized that LIV Golf was bringing them too much bad publicity and a huge financial loss without a clear return on investment.

The current season will come to an end «at full throttle», according to the management. However, without billions of dollars from private investors, LIV Golf as we know it will shut down at the end of the year, and most of the elite players will return to traditional golf.

There is also talk that Jon Rahm could follow the path of several of his peers and consider returning to the PGA Tour. The 31-year-old Spaniard was dominating the PGA Tour when he decided to accept LIV Golf’s incredible offer.
