Anna Huang, a 17-year-old from Vancouver, has her second win of the season, following two last year when she turned professional. Leading after three rounds, she shot a 70 (-3), sealing the win with an eagle on the final green (after three birdies and two bogeys) against Hall, who was three strokes behind at the start of the round. The Englishwoman caught up and then overtook her with a birdie on the 16th, after Hall bogeyed her opponent, but soon afterward she chased back for a double bogey. She birdied the final hole (69, -4, six birdies, a double bogey), but Huang ended her playoff hopes with her final feat. A victory that confirms her great qualities, especially since it was achieved over Hull, a 30-year-old from Kettering, world number six, with three LPGA Tour titles, five LET titles, and seven Solheim Cups played for Team Europe, a four-time winner. The Canadian received a check for $300,000 from a prize pool of $2,000,000.
