Seve Ballesteros, Sir Nick Faldo, Bernhard Langer, and Colin Montgomerie have each claimed three titles. With his victory last year, Rory McIlroy joined the club of two-time winners, alongside Ian Woosnam, Sam Torrance, Mark James, and Jon Rahm.

The three-time Major champion won at Adare Manor in 2007 and finished runner-up at Fota Island (2001), County Louth (2004), and Killarney (2010). In his 30 previous outings, he has made the cut 17 times and will be looking this week to snap a streak of three consecutive missed cuts.
