Unlike Ballesteros, Scheffler has used this footwear during practice sessions leading up to the Masters, which begins this Thursday at Augusta National Golf Club.

Ballesteros was the first Spanish golfer to don the Masters green jacket after winning it in 1980; he repeated his success in 1983.

Forty years later, Spaniard Jon Rahm is one of the main favorites and aims to equal the Cantabrian golfer’s record of two titles, following his victory in 2023.
