Ping has expanded its Scottsdale family with a new generation of TEC (Tour Elevated Concepts) putters that leverage visual research to help golfers better align and stabilize their gaze at address.

The range is built around five mallet models—Ally Blue Onset, Ketsch Onset, Hayden, Ally Blue H, and Ketsch 4—all designed to offer increased forgiveness, improved line control, and more consistent feel on the greens.

The key feature of these Scottsdale TEC putters is Eye Tracking technology, developed through testing and the concept of «Quiet Eye»—a golfer’s ability to maintain a steady gaze on the ball just before the stroke.

Ping engineers precisely measured where and for how long top putters focused their attention before the stroke by equipping golfers with Tobii Eye Tracking glasses. They then designed a visual marker on the top rail and a long alignment line to extend this gaze stability.

The putter family remains true to the brand’s DNA: a center of gravity positioned behind the shaft axis, a high MOI (moment of inertia) for greater forgiveness thanks to a multi-material construction with an aluminum body, steel sole, and Pebax insert (a material used in athletic shoe soles due to its elastic properties) for a softer feel.

The Ally Blue and Ketsch models are unique in that they feature an «onset» shaft – positioned near the center line of the clubhead to provide an unobstructed view of the ball at address. Several players have adopted them, notably Tony Finau, who has significantly improved his putting stats on the PGA Tour since January.
