Herbert closed with a final-round 69 (-3), taking a four-shot lead over Sergio Garcia at 24-under par. Garcia had closed the gap to within one shot early on the back nine, but Herbert responded with a decisive birdie, managing the pressure and concluding with a triumphant walk on the 18th.

«I spent about 60 holes alone in the lead,» Herbert said. «It feels good to finish and achieve a goal I’ve been chasing for two and a half years, ever since I joined the league.»

In the team competition, 4Aces GC had to come from behind to overcome Fireballs GC in the playoff, capturing their third title of the season. Anthony Kim’s extraordinary round proved decisive: a bogey-free 62 (-10), his best par score since returning to golf in 2024 after a 12-year hiatus.

On the first playoff hole (the par-4 18th), Kim, Thomas Detry, and Josele Ballester made par, while David Puig bogeyed. Kim hit the best shot of the day: a 5-wood from about 215 meters from the rough, which landed less than ten feet from the hole.

«I knew the other three were hitting much longer shots than me,» Kim joked. «At 40 and with a sore body, the goal was to land on the front of the green and get the ball moving. It went exactly how I wanted.»

Garcia, who finished second at 20 points, had a tough day: he recovered ground with a 25-foot birdie on the 9th (where Herbert made a double bogey) and moved within a shot, but Herbert responded with a birdie on the 12th and maintained control until the end, despite a brief rain interruption.
