After a week’s break, the Ladies European Tour returned to action with the tenth event of the 2026 season, the Amundi German Masters, played from May 14th to 17th on the North Course of Green Eagle Golf Courses in Hamburg. A challenging course, nicknamed the «Green Monster,» it confirmed its reputation as one of the most difficult in Germany, with water in play on 17 of the 18 holes and strategic bunkers protecting the greens.

Germany’s Leonie Harm emerged victorious, finishing the tournament 10 points behind (65-75-73-69) to claim the title in front of her home crowd. Harm had already impressed in the first round with a sumptuous 65 (-8) bogey-free, a course record, and she handled the following days with great maturity to hold off the fierce competition. South Africa’s Casandra Alexander finished second at -9, while Anna Huang, Chiara Noja, and Alexandra Försterling tied for third at -7.

The Italian quartet had a tournament of ups and downs, but with positives especially from Roberta Liti and Anna Zanusso.

Roberta Liti finished 20th with a total of -1 (70-71-75-75). Starting solidly with two rounds under par, the Italian player maintained a good position after the cut, confirming her experience and scoring a solid result that will earn her valuable Order of Merit points. This placement rewards consistency and game management on a course that punishes every mistake. Anna Zanusso finished 37th with a total of +3 (73-72-75-75). She also made the cut by a wide margin, showing character despite suffering a few too many bogeys on the Green Monster. It was nevertheless a useful experience for the young Italian.

Unfortunately, Alessia Nobilio and Matilde Partele failed to make the cut after 36 holes, dropping out in the first half of the tournament.

The tournament saw a strong showing from the home players: in addition to winner Harm, Esther Henseleit, Chiara Noja, Alexandra Försterling, and Laura Fuenfstueck shone on the podium and in the top spots. This was an important sign for the German women’s golfing scene, already experiencing strong growth. The battle for victory was fierce until the very end, with Harm managing to land the decisive shot in the final round.

The Amundi German Masters thus officially opened the European swing of the LET, confirming the high caliber of the field and the technical challenge posed by the North Course. For our Azzurre it was a precious opportunity to compete on an international stage.
