With this result, she reached 18 victories on the LPGA Tour, becoming the youngest American to do so since Nancy Lopez in 1980.

«I’m just having fun and I love the competition. I love traveling to places like Mexico and all over the world,» Korda commented with her usual humility. She also noted that she made only two errors in four rounds on a tight and challenging course, where she demonstrated great precision and control.

An excellent performance by Carolina Melgrati, who finished the tournament in ninth place with a total of 5-under par (69-73-71-70), earning her first top-10 finish on the LPGA. Benedetta Moresco made the cut and finished tied for 61st with a total of +5 (71-74-76-72).

Korda continues to make history: she is the first American player since Meg Mallon (2004) to win the tournament immediately following a major, and she has tied several records for longevity and consistency at the top. Her dominance in 2026 is also evident in the statistics.
