After the end of LIV Golf Mexico, Jon Rahm gave his opinion regarding the negotiations between the PGA Tour and LIV Golf, saying that the situation is very complicated, while believing that reaching an agreement would be the best thing for everyone involved.

«Obviously we’re in a situation where it’s a bit unknown how it [a deal] could affect the world of golf long-term and the environment we have right now, and I do believe, yeah, if there was some kind of agreement reached, it would be better for everybody,» he said, as quoted by Golf Magic.

LIV Golf, it is a fact, loses the most in this situation, considering that they are still not awarded with OWGR points. This causes frustration among golfers from this Tour, who have been tapping in the place for years.

«There’s enough love for the game worldwide for all of us to have a place to play, and I think there’s a solution out there.»-he said.

The 31-year-old golfer believes that this is an opportunity to create something special, putting golf in the right place. Jon Rahm is aware that golf has received more attention than ever with the arrival of LIV Golf, and the unification could be the next step that will cause a barrage of reactions.
