Ruoning Yin (69 in the final round) finished alone in second place, her fourth runner-up finish in the last twelve months. The Chinese player played an excellent round from tee to green, hitting all the greens in regulation, but was unable to add as many birdies in the second half of the round.

Celine Boutier, in the final against Thitikul, quickly fell out of contention with three bogeys and no birdies in the first half of the round, finishing with a 75 and a ninth-place finish.

Thitikul had started the year ranked No. 1 in the women’s world. After her victory in Thailand, however, the tour was dominated by Nelly Korda, who won two consecutive tournaments, including the major Chevron Championship. Korda did not compete in this event.

The Thai player becomes the fourth player with at least two wins in 2026, following a 2025 season in which the first multiple-time winner arrived only in October. The other two are Hannah Green and Hyo Joo Kim.

“I think all of us, myself included, just want to improve,” Thitikul added. “There are so many talented players and new talent, and anyone can win. The level of competition is rising. I believe the work everyone put in this offseason will soon bear fruit.”
