«I still feel like there’s a couple of things where it could be a lot better,» continued Koepka. 

The experienced golfer emphasized that the head of his Titleist GT3 driver was cracked, which is why he could not dominate the Valspar Championship.

In an interview with the media, he admitted that there is still room for improvement and that he will work hard in the coming period to achieve his goals. 

«We found out the driver might have been a little cracked a little last week so that might have contributed to some sprays off the tee, and the spin rate just wasn’t right. So we’ve just put a new head in this week and I’ll hopefully drive it a bit better. I think that’s the missing piece for me because I feel it’s costing me a few shots, but if I can put it in the fairway the way I’m hitting my irons it feels like 2018 and 2019.»

He expects to provide as great moments in the future as before, with the desire to be as dominant as in 2018 and 2019.

The American golfer has yet to win the Masters, although he came close in 2019 and 2023. If he wins the Masters, he will have just one major to complete his career Grand Slam. Brooks Koepka also still hasn’t won the Open.

I’m pretty sure everybody sees that when I’m on the golf course. … I was just taking in the moment and appreciating where I was. I think that was something I haven’t done in maybe my professional career, and it was just enjoyable.”

While the leaders of LIV Golf were disappointed with his decision, the American acts decisively – he wants to play at a high level and compete in the biggest tournaments. Koepka realized that money is not the primary goal of his career, but setting high goals and achieving success not only in the majors, but also in other prestigious PGA tournaments.
