Brandel Chamblee, reacting to Jon Rahm’s win on X, shared his thoughts. 

“He beat players who sacrificed their careers to play on a tour that was hotter cooked than eaten,“ Chamblee said.

The well-known golf expert wanted to send a clear message that LIV Golf is better in theory than in practice. 

According to Brandel Chamblee, LIV Golf did not achieve the set goals, nor did it achieve the progress they had hoped for over the years.

Although they were willing to change their format, which they ultimately did, even such a change did not bring them significant progress.

A few days ago, well-known golf expert reacted to rumors about the shutdown of LIV Golf, saying that this project turned out to be worse than even expected. Brandel Chamblee called their project laughable, mainly because of the 54-hole format.

If indeed LIV Golf collapses, there is a good chance that Jon Rahm could follow the path of Brooks Koepka and some of his former LIV colleagues with the desire to return to the PGA Tour. 

Whether the leaders of the PGA Tour would be open to his return, as well as the return of other LIV golfers, is difficult to give a precise answer.

The arrival of Jon Rahm would certainly increase the competitiveness of the prestigious tour, raise the rating, but also spark reactions for other reasons.
